There will be 4 piloted sites implemented with street lighting using energy efficient Light Emitting Diodes (LED) and optimizing all efficiency factors to generate a significant energy saving.

The efficient energy saving solution will be tested in real life and validated during one year.

During the project each one of the 4 pilots will be equipped with a network of around 50 lighting points.

The 4 pilot sites for implementation LITES technology are:
Municipality of Bordeaux (France),
Municipality of Piaseczno (Poland),
Riga Technical University campus,
(Latvia) The Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal).
